IN THE STUDIO

Hi, I’m Natasha, the designer behind Viva Design Miniatures. I’m a lifelong DIY enthusiast with a love for design and interiors, both in full scale and miniature. I live in sunny Central Florida with my husband, a career firefighter and paramedic, our two children, and our goldendoodle, Mr. Darcy.

In 2022, I faced a difficult diagnosis and treatment that pushed me to search for creativity and purpose again. That journey led me to restoring vintage dollhouses, and I quickly fell in love with the process of bringing forgotten homes back to life. What began as a personal creative outlet soon grew into a thriving online community centered around imagination, craftsmanship, and interior design.

Today, I specialize in restoring vintage, heirloom-quality dollhouses that have fallen into disrepair or simply become outdated over time. My focus is on creating realistic miniature interiors, primarily in 1:12 scale, inspired by the warmth, character, and detail found in real homes. Each project is designed to feel immersive, modern, and one of a kind. I am especially drawn to the challenge of transforming abandoned dollhouses into ultra-realistic spaces through carefully curated finishes, architectural detail, lighting, and handcrafted elements.

One of my favorite parts of building a large online community has been connecting my audience with incredibly talented miniature artists, makers, and retailers. Supporting fellow small businesses and sharing their work through my content is something I truly value.

When I’m not working in the studio, you can usually find me spending time with my family at Disney World, kayaking, swimming, or traveling.

Thank you for being here, and welcome to my miniature world.
